In this tutorial we will see how to brighten and freshen dark green into brighter one with some simple steps.

Stock:
1. Duplicate your base twice to copy 1 and copy 2. Set copy 1 to soft light 100% and copy 2 to Screen 100% (copy 2 set on the top). This step is to make the pic brighter and create bright areas . We got:
2. Layer - New adjustment layer - Selective color . Notice that you choose Absolute mode (default is Relative): Yellow:-3,6,-82,0
Neutral: 25,9,11,-6
Red: -100,-3,1,7
Greens: 100, -39,-72,0
3. It looks much better but we will make it look a bit nicer. Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E to merge all layers into a new layer. Set this layer to soft light 60%. We got:
4. Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E again to merge all of them . Duplicate it then go to Filter - Blur -Gassian blur, set to 0.6 pixels. Erase everything avoiding her skin and the background leaves behind her, ( remember to erase lightly around her face's shape to make it look real) we have:

5. We are about to finish it! Add text and star brush as you want. Here is my result:
